If you 8 hours work every day just as we do on the computer, then you know intended to assess the good office lighting. This has a direct impact not only on our eye health, but also on our work performance. So it is in our interest, but also in the interest of our superiors, if the lighting in the Office is optimized as well. It should be noted some principles which are of course governed by the occupational safety and Health Act.
One of them is the light intensity, which should be at least 500 lux when writing, reading, and data processing. An even distribution of daylight and artificial light, as well as of direct and indirect light is an absolute must. So that daylight is best used, workstations should be close to the window. A right angle is the optimal solution that avoids the glare between the different image sources.
